THE ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATIONS: BIG STEPS TOWARD SHARED ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP

If your organization were to receive a generous grant for organizational development, what would you focus on? This video shares the story of the Alliance for Community Transformations, a domestic and sexual violence prevention organization serving Mariposa and Merced Counties, through three perspectives: Executive Director Chevon Kothari, Program Director Alison Tudor, and CompassPoint consultant Steve Lew. It is the leadership journey of how CompassPoint consultants and the Alliance's management team co-designed and rolled out a comprehensive staff development program and shared leadership approach with staff members on every level and across offices in both regions. The results: staff members that are empowered and prepared to lead from wherever they work within the organization and a system of feedback, transparency, and accountability at every level that has moved the organization forward in a way that strengthens what they already have and provides them a strong position from where they can continue to grow.

In the video "We Can Grow from Here," Executive Director Chevon Kothari, Program Director Alison Tudor, and CompassPoint's Steve Lew tell the story of our two-year, holistic work with the Alliance to empower staff leaders at every level and strategically prepare the organization for the next phase of their organizational story.
