Joe Jackson is a seasoned nonprofit veteran, a certified mediator, and trained facilitator. He has over two decades of grassroots and nonprofit organization experience, including eight years of policy and data analysis research for racial equity advocacy and four years of workplace equity and justice consulting. Each of Joe’s professional and academic achievements are informed by his lived experience as a Black transgender man who navigated juvenile and foster systems in his youth. As a result, Joe’s work is strongly influenced by frameworks including antiracism, Black feminist theory, cultural humility, conflict transformation, restorative justice, and workplace psychological safety.
