About Emros
[Pronouns: they/ them/ theirs]
Emros is a Project Director focusing on program operations at CompassPoint, ensuring that participants in our Cohort Leadership Programs and public trainings have transformative learning experiences. They love working behind the scenes and connecting directly with nonprofit leaders to ensure that their learning experiences with CompassPoint help them to further their goals of equity and justice.
Emros believes that operations work can be both creative and radical, and they strive to build systems and processes that reflect and acknowledge the humanity of folks engaging with them.
As an East Coaster, Emros loves direct communication and seasons (yes, all of them). They enjoy swimming in the ocean, being a dad to their dog and a Titi to their niblings, writing letters to their Black & Pink penpal, and reading radical science fiction that imagines new liberated futures.
